My First Bedroom features paintings and textile quilts created in Ed Curtis’ hometown and the family home he grew up in Herefordshire, England. Since moving back in 2022 and setting up a studio in what he describes as ‘my ultimate safe space’, his childhood home, this new yet familiar environment has allowed Ed to realign with the essence of his trademark creative expression. This selection of works offers a view into an artist embodying his energetic personality in the place it all began recreating his ideal bedroom-like sanctuary inside the Foxall Studio.
